You may have noticed, I think I have no style identity!  I am a little bit preppy and a bit rock and roll, a little bit hippy and a little bit contemporary.  Everyday a different vibe, that’s what I love about style!  Here is a preppy outfit:  Vintage button-up stripe shirt, vintage Levi’s, vintage leather bag, vintage Bandolino weave shoes.  Please note that we are adding some new FALL styles to our boutique, hope you like it!!!  :D   Have a great week, thanks for reading! xo

A Savana inspired look:  Vintage africans pattern shirt, Insight sheer tank-top, « had’em forever » shorts, vintage strappy gold and silver leather sandals, thrifted Africans bead necklace, thrifted carry-all bag.  Anon shades

Welcome, dear readers, to a personal vintage style diary.  I woke up this morning with a « manouche » feel (FIY; a manouche is a Euro gypsy, and also a jazz guitar style).  I wear thrifted high waist denim cut-offs, re-shaped vintage tunic with crochet neck detail, vintage leather attaché. NO MAKE-UP

This is my sister’s necklace.  The three lil’ charms are actually tiny frames in which you can put an itsy bitsy picture of your mom, your cat & your bf!  Ardène bird ring.

Vintage wood & leather sandals.  Peaches n cream.  Thrifted late 80’s frames.

June and Joe moved from LA to Portland just 1 month ago, and yet their nest is already perfectly decorated.  The house was built in 1910 and most of it’s design is authentic, which means a totally adorable kitchen, and wooden windows.  Junes proves her great sense of style and design (she is also a fierce thrifter), mixing Antiques and mid-century furniture in an eclectic – and perfect way.  Decorated on a budget, this home is stylish and filled with vintage treasures.

Mid century cabinet, scandinavian chair and newspaper holder.  Dining table is a DIY vintage wooden door mounted over 4 thrifted legs.

I am in the process of research and inspiration for a fashion shoot next month, where Marie H Rainville will execute her talent behind the camera.  I’ll be the stylist for this editorial, a first for me outside of my personal work.  I can’t wait!  Until then, here are a few of my inspiration-board bangers, dark and dramatic, a bit like how I’m feeling these days.

The two first pictures are from Denis Gagnon‘s FW11 collection.  Please check the fantabulous,  jaw-dropping runway video on his site.   Enjoy your week!
